Guilty pleasures in midwestern Norway

Hi again guys!

I went out for a little fishing ride today. I started out from Halsa ferry dock:

And went to Valsøy bridge:

Where I caught nothing, but encountered mister Sniffy McCod:

It's a really nice place:

Boat peeps having a good time. Maybe they wanna race up the fjord?

View from the bridge:

Opposite view:

I rode on, looking for other places to dip my pole, as my dad used to say.

This didn't look too shabby:

The queen seems pleased about the location:

Brandy? What kind of name is that for a boat? The two boats on the fjord were having fun waterskiing. It was kind of amusing, because this is in the middle of literally nowhere. I didn't even know they had motor powered boats here.

Some boat houses and a nice beach:

More beach. It was the only kind of beach I could get today. I like beaches:

I caught some of these, saithe I believe they are called in your crazy moon language known as english:

And one of these, a funny looking deepwater fish called ling:

Eventually we moved on (PS! I ordered a K60 rear today):

But not without enjoying the view:

Here's a cool little gadget I picked up on ebay. It displays time + seconds or name of day, and also date if you press the Time button, and furthermore inside/outside temp as well as voltage. Is this what you call a frackle? Fackle? Fackel? Farlek? Falker? I will need to relocate it when my tripmeter completes its repairs!

Riding E39 back to Trondheim. It's full of cool twists and turns.

That is all. I am going to work tomorrow, so I made this post short and sweet. I hope you enjoyed riding with me virtually, see you soon my internet buddies!

Thank you windpusher, I had to look up the word bucolic. I very much enjoyed the definition of it -- "the pleasant aspects of the countryside and country life". That's practically my middle name (as well as mostly everyone else here, I suspect).

Here is my route, with the sexy beach added as a waypoint: http://maps.google.com/?ll=63.23643,...469177&t=p&z=9

Also worth noting that I passed the norwegian gene bank for wild Atlantic salmon which is located next to Vinjefjorden.

Beautiful country, I would love to visit Norway and the surrounding countries. Dualsport and fishing are a perfect combo.
