The question earlier asked was how to do like the Vic Vision? How did it do on the long haul? Am thinking very seriously on trading my 2010 RoadKing in on a new Vision. Need some real feedback from a guy that rides like I do- long mile trips across country. CTH

I really like the Vision. I would buy another one.
I have had 3 Victory's. A Vegas, a Kingpin and the Vision and have done long road trips on all of them and I have never had a problem.
At the bottom of the post I added links to past rides on the Victory's. Some extreme conditions and never a problem.
The Vision is also fun at stops, everyone has questions about the bike even people that don't ride.

The best thing you can do is take one for a ride. Most dealers will let you do a demo ride.

Very impressive! Looks like you were able to do some serious endurance riding and still get some good sites in at the same time. I'm looking forward to doing my first BBG here soon, been wanting to do it for a while just haven't gotten off my butt and do it yet.

Nice route.. would have tailed ya but probably would have slowed your plan down.. Amazing to see your bike on the dirt going up Pike's too..

Impressed that you did some of these rides on a cruiser rather than a tourer bike. I ran around the USA on a Harley Dyna for some years before getting a Street Glide than a Roadking. I would think that your current Victory is one of the better long haul rides of the bunch.

Thank you!
Climbing Pikes Peak was fun. I also had nice weather there. Sun, low 50's at the top and a light wind. Nice!

Thank you and good luck on the BBG!!
I have done 2 BBG1500's and they were very different.
On the first one I had no rain, traffic or construction and on the second I had 100's of mile of each! Made the ride very challenging,

Thanks for the ride report. I haven't yet done an IBA ride, but I plan to, it's helpful to see what others have done.

Congratulations Karel!!

Other than the 45 minute nap (break) on a wayside bench in Utah this ride was almost non-stop for 34 hours.
I thought I would be able to do it quicker but the rain and construction made it more challenging!

The ride details -
