I wish ... Just put my first born on a plane this a.m. as an incoming freshman at the University of New Mexico ... another in college next year ... didn't qualify for ANY college financial loan/aid. So begins the era of austerity. I'll be lucky to be able to afford my cable subscription to watch it on tv.![]() BC's gonna make a great DAKAR racer!

Of course youd probably be crazy not to run with the power plug in, but do you think it will contribute to a shorter engine life?

I can still remember the team of Smith and Ashcraft kicking everyone's asses in Baja back in the 80's with their 500CR. I had my 500 Husky in '85 and was planning on doing the Baja thing....went in the Army instead. If I can make it down there next year, you'll have an almost local fan in-country.

So between the broken bones and locating parts, progress had slowed down a little. Parts are now starting to come in and the bones are on the mend so the physical training is back in high gear and the bike build is underway. Currently stock forks are at Ohlins getting the TTX kit installed and Ohlins RFX forks are on the way from Sweden. There should be two Ohlins TTX shocks ready soon too. The fabricator is working on the rear tank and a Safari front tank was shipped out yesterday.
