With headlight unplugged and no charging, how far will my R100 go?

I just don't have the time to deal with troubleshooting my electrical woes right now and our local dealer is quite reasonable. I'd like to just ride the damn thing there, but it is 45 miles away and the bike is charging intermittently. If I unplug the headlight, what are the odds I can make it? During the not charging periods, it still reads basically 12 volts.
