Hey Coonass, send one down here to Veracruz and there are about 25 guys in the club with 1200GS models that can beta test in temps well over 90f at sea level to 10,000ft elevation and all points in between. Though at 10,000ft it gets a little chilly!
All along the coast it'll be above 90f until the end of October or so. |

I found that my BMW plug supplier closed shop last week with no previous warning.
I have a few built waiting on the plugs! Next batch will ship later in the week.

So what's the result fellas?
Some of us are waiting for a little feedback on the product before we get in line. Usually don't have to wait around for someone to praise/bitch about new products around here.

Received mine.... finally got time to install. Easy install based on the pics provided. Took me longer to decide where to put the external sensor and switch than to do anything else...

Just a few laps around the block. Accuweather said 89 degs so left it on RED. Quick spin conclusions... better test tomorrow's cummute to follow.
Slightly quieter/smoother idle Smooth off idle Power was hard to tell around my neighborhood in shorts and running shoes with no helmet Felt slightly increased. I'm already running 15/42 so geared down but now it seems to pull further up in the revs without the loud clatter (if that makes any sense)More to follow |

Been riding it to work and around town the last two days....
Works. Smoother throttle response. "Like buttah." Best description I can give is that the throttle response feels more like my old carbed '98 F650ST but with gobs more power. The little snatchynes that was left after I switched to 15/42 is gone. Not a drop or hair of any poor throttle snatch anymore. ![]() More power on demand so I twist less throttle to get to speed Gas mileage is about the same. Maybe slightly better if that is possible. Reset the BMW avg gas guage. Havn't put a full tank through it yet. Will soon tho... All and all it is a great solution. I give it a big Best of all the F800GS high rev clatter is diminished to where I can't even hear it now. Tells me the bike was running TOO LEAN for its own good. Great work HTCoonass |

Did you do anything special with that switch? Just a 2 position? I'll probably be plunking down the cash when I get home for one but a rocker switch would look better on the bike dash. (Yes I'm aware that vanity is a sin)

Geno2w1, Find a switch you like - mail it to me (or send me a location buy what you want) and I will build it for you!
![]() Hows that for customer service!![]() Did you do anything special with that switch? nope... I though a lot about the switch during the design phase.... 1) fancy dash switches are expensive...most riders wont want to spend the extra cash just for a fancy switch. 2) can't please everyone....some will want on the bars, some will want the dash, some will want out of site. 3)the rider can always change it if they like! it is 2 position.... on/on If any wants to change it I can send very detailed instructions on how change it....
