Just take care for whom are planning their next trip on this portion of the road.
The Phase III of the TLH is accessible during this winter, after roughing the last 50km and have it frozen (from km100 to km150, starting on GB side), but it is still to built. Will be closed again on spring when it will start to thaw.

Also, 2 bridges still need to be completed. We were using temporary bridge (used for construction wreck) during this trip...

So, it isn't really open? I saw a notice somewhere that it was opened last December and was hoping to ride it this summer. Are you saying that was open while buried in snow but once the snow melts it still isn't open? I'm confused.

Information On Translabrador Goose To Cartwright Junction

According to Newfoundland Tourism as of 2 weeks ago and a Cartwright native as of last week, the Goose to Cartwright Junction section is open but the first 50 or so kilometres at the Goose end is very, very rough and a vehicle could only do about 10 kph. Very rutted and "stumps coming up through the road". The rest is quite passable. Planning to do it on my Ural Patrol in the early fall.

Route file for Trans Lab

This route file was cobbled from a track file. On my Zumo 665 the flags are are announced in a pop-up that persists for about 10 seconds then closes. Until the road gets on NavTec that's the best I could do.

file is attached
