Yellowstone to Glacier dual-sport
Ladies & Gents-
I can't thank you all enough for the trip reports that have helped me plan my route. I hope to repay the same as I go. I am leaving in a week (crap...less, actually) from San Francisco. I have my route planned through Nevada, Utah, and up to Yellowstone.
I have never been to Glacier and am planning on making that part of my loop...I have the rest of Montana mapped out back to home from Missoula.
But...my searches haven't given me any clear routes linking Yellowstone to Clacier on some fun off-road dirt.
I am doing mostly maintained dirt roads...no serious technical terrain as I am on a fully loaded R1150 GS. Knobby tires, extra fuel cannister, etc...but heavy.
Anyone have recommendations of how to hook up these two parks on some fun off-road?
From Glacier I plan on coming down bits of the Continental Divide and then a stop off in Missoula for a visit. Then hooking up with the Magruder Corridor over to Idaho.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
