$50 fricking bucks for a left turn signal on the Strom! For that cost, I'm debating whether to change to LED aftermarket ones instead. Last time I follow Beefjerky

pictures

Sorry for not posting ride report.....bad timing...extremely busy week and not getting home till late every day. This is about it for pictures...Nobody shot any country side scenes....

GMM working on oil filter gasket-gone-bad. No luck.

SScratch and the rest of the crew on big falls dam.

Scene of the crash: Beefjerky lost traction on front tire and Lencho tried to avoid, got into some gravel and they came togehter anyway. The GS had a handle bar realignment, so did the DL + a broken turn signal.

BeefJerky saying hello to everybody.

Short break...dirty south on his DL650.

Another break and a waive hello:

End of the trail adventure rider salute by BeefJerky, DirtySouth400, and Boots.

These pictures bring memories of the ride, and remind of two specific things that we did not get photos on, and should have!! 1 was very scary, and the other was very fine, doubly fine.

SCARY - Boots earning his name at the camp site Friday night

FINE - Those two sweet, sweet waitresses serving up my jalapenio burger!!

Hey Larry, on mine and beefjerkys ride home, my shifter came off. I noticed you had the same problem at one time. I guess that is the reason the vstrom has emergency flashers. You would think that whoever come up with the idea to put flashers on a bike would say; hey why don't we use a little loctite on these nuts?

You should post this on the thread I started on the subject to raise it up to current status. You might save some other fellow Strom owners the head ache of the experience.
