I did that South loop uphill to Horseshoe/Olallie about 2 years ago, it was an excellent uphill, and I was very disappointed I got snowed out in late July this year.

I'm glad the 2-a-yas had such a great adventure. Crash's shoulder must be feeiling better, that was a good long ride.

I sure look forward to seeing some pics in HR Rides out the Back Door.
Thanks for the SPOT links, they keep me dreaming about riding, and help with my sanity while I'm working

Sunday morning Barlow ride.

Asrvivor, 3cows & self rode over to Trillium on RD20 early this morning, great views as usual.

On to Pioneer womans grave, then Barlow road entry.
John was eager to test out his new Sasquash suspension...which he did with great speed, there was lots of whoops & smiles & all kinds of groans coming from him...so it looks like it's a rockin system.
My little XR4 was well...squishy, but it doesn't bottom out & with all it's travel, it saves my back.

Lots of camping going on over the Barlow, so took it easy near the camps for the dust. Enjoyed hopping the cut outs & generally throwing the bikes around for a couple of hours.

Took one of the roads over to RD 48 & blacktopped it back to RD 35.
Back to Zig Zag, decided to go up Lolo to old maid flats road, where the road was blocked with cruiser & forestry guys.
Lots of smoke around that area, but didn't have any throughout the earlier ride.
Clocked around 100 mi, so a fun wee ride for the morning.

OK, off to do some of that remodeling i postponed.

If you need something to do find this lone grave:

It's near 48 and Gate Creek. About 1/3 of a mile off the road. That's all I'm saying.

Hey, don't you call that "Driving Around the Hood" on them three wheeled contraptions?

The old Shadow's getting some new shocks, rebuilt forks, brakes front and back, new back tire, etc, etc.
We still think it needs a third wheel attached to it's side, with a hack big enough for the Hooligan Hounds.....
