2 years on.....

the fabricator had problems getting insurance to supply parts and nothing much came of it.

I remember someone did make a larger plate for thr TT rack and might even have offered them for sale. Other than that it would be Hepco and Becker.

Yeah, that was me. Had the Vendors thread posted up for about 3 months. Got zero interest other than from guys saying "Hey, if you can modify it to fit my [KTM, XR, GS, etc--fill in the blank] then I want one!"

Drone, you got any of them plates laying around, I would buy one. Honestly, I never look in vendors.

PM sent.

No, that was two years ago. Mine is a one-off. Got no interest from the Vendors thread so I deep-sixed the project. If anybody wants the shop drawings to get it made locally, just PM me your e-mail address.

I got the plans from Drone and am trying to send them to BoxerMetal (does metal fab, in the vendor section) for a quote. If I can get one made in the US by the end of the year I might do that, otherwise I'll probably have one made here in Moscow. I will let you know what I hear back from BoxerMetal.

I've received one quote for the luggage rack: $74 for 3/16 alum, + $20 for powder coating. He says if we order seven he can cut the price by almost half. Still waiting for one other quote. I am going to order one, if anyone is interested send me a PM by Monday, October 3.

Sycl Battery - size

Lots of questions on how much different the lithium batteries are in size compared to the OEM batteries. Here's a pic:

Sorry about the silty photo. The Nevada silt gets on everything and doesn't go away.

The OEM battery fills the battery compartment COMPLETELY.

Here's the wiring that goes in with the battery:

Here's the extra set of leads from the battery that I had made just in case I would need a jump or someone needs a jump;

Hey: I used a rack from these guys to add to my TT rack, had to cut it a little to fit.

Hi.
can anyone show me s picture of your ventline of your TT Tank? i don't know where everyone has placed it. i know it should go over the hight of the tank, but i can't see where people placed it. Obviously if you followed the instructions given by TT.

Thanks,
FR

The main tank vent goes up the frame and is draped over the head stock!
I don't have pictures of that . Sorry!
