Question Buell Ulysses

Any of you ZA ADVriders seen or riden the new Buell Ulysses? They supposedly have them at the Buell dealer in Jo'burg.

I know it's not a true dirt bike BUT that's not what I want anyway. I'm looking for a bike to comfortably run the tar AND dirt, gravel, salt roads in Namibia. Lived in Zim in early-mid 80's & ran a big Kaw 1100 on similar roads. It can be done but I'm way to old for that nonsense now. My wife & I will be moving there in a year, or so. Spent 8 weeks there in Feb-Mar so know what the roads are like in Nam. Unfortunately, cannot test similar conditions here in NW Indiana-no similar roads.

Currently have a 12GS & Harley Sportster 1200 Roadster. The GS would be perfect EXCEPT I don't trust it!! Computerized crap left me stranded ONCE, here. It ain't gonna happen there with the nearest dealer in Winshoek & me in either Walvis or Omaruru.

Would TRULY appreciate any feedback from folks that know the road types. I know, I can stay on the tar & get anywhere BUT I still have SOME adventure spitit in my soul.

Thanks in Advance,
Jock
