Quick ride report on OBB's!

Went for a ride on my 2011 RT today in the Adirondacks. Beautiful sunny afternoon. . . . . .5-10 degree temperature swings from the mid 40's to the mid 50's. Cool for riding, without plugging in. I know I'm prejudiced, but I had to keep the heated grips alternately on low, or off, because the heat came through the OBB's so effectively. The ride was sensational, and I was toasty warm and comfortable, even without plugging in.

Hope everyone else is getting out and riding with these glorious fall days, because they are not going to last forever in the Northeast. All you guys (and girls) in the southern and southwestern states are just starting your main riding seasons, I realize. You are very lucky, and we in the northern states are very jealous!

Best of luck to all, and ride safely.

Best,

Dave R.

Is it too late to take advantage of the group buy? If so, I would like a pair.

I love these grips! I couldn't wait for the group buy and ordered them last week. Easy install and the glue is not so strong that you can't move them around if you didn't place them in the right spot the first time.

Great Observation!!

Rob-

No problem. It is by no means too late to take advantage of the group buy discount. Simply follow the payment/shipping instructions in post #29 and you are done!

Hikertash-

Your observation about the "move-ability/repositioning" properties/nature of my grips is very insightful, and something I tell all my clients. It is the combination of a very strong adhesive interacting with rubber stock grips which repel adhesives, resulting in the capability of my grips to be easily re-positioned, but still retaining their safety-promoting stickiness.

Thanks for your input.

Best,

Dave R.

UPDATE 10/24/2011
: Group Buy on till 10/31/2011!

Several members have been emailing me to find out if the group buy is still on? Yes, we are running it til Monday 10/31/11 (at least, and possibly longer if the need is there). So, come one, come all. I have even opened this up to members of the forum who want to buy for their buddies at the discounted price. Purpose of this GB is to be an advantage to as many members, their families, and their friends as possible. Remember, see post #29 of this thread for payment and shipping information.

Best to all.

Dave R.

Recieved my set today. I like the look and feel of the materials used, certainly nicer than the foam style on my R/T.

Now if my new GS would just get here I could try them out......

Thanks for the fast service, and the sweets!

PP sent.
The stock grips on my F800GS were too small.
The Grip Puppies I put on are a bit too fat.
These should be just right.

Got mine and installed today!

Fast efficient service, great product, great price. They just plain work! Even felt a little heat coming through...but not thoroughly winter tested yet.

Recommened for the F800GS skinny grip problem.
