2012 Cancer Council Ride

It is time to start planning the Cancer Council ride for 2012.

This time I am thinking about starting the ride in March. How does that fit with the Queensland riders?

March will suit the Tasmanian riders and I will plan the entire ride so that the NT segment is not until May which is a bit cooler up there

.

I would like the ride to go all the way around this year.

Last year we raised over 40,000 which is a bit more than the year before.

I may need to post separately in the different riding areas as well (as I have done in previous years).

Im back in - but April from the WA side is better for me. It'll prolly take you old guys that long to get around over there anyhoo..

Are you running with the same logo this year - or another??? The sooner we get it out the better - and the sooner I can hit up those who need hitting...

I like the idea of starting in March, the weather will be better in Vic.

Count me in again for this year, for the Melbourne to SA leg. If we have trouble getting the Spanner from Vic into SA again this year, I'm aiming to have a back up plan to go as far as Adelaide if needed.

Hi Pete.

April is OK for with me for the spanner to arrive in WA.

We are running with the same logo so you can use it to get the message out there. Do you need any stickers or beer coolers?

Start hitting as many as you can

I'm in, again. Finger's crossed.

I would like to actually ride a bit further this time around. Maybe from the start to Adelaide?
If that comes off, it will be on the Tiger. Twin tracks required.

At this early stage I'll throw myself in there too and will assist if possible to get the spanner further into SA as required. Be a good chance for the newly forming Green Triangle Riders to do something together.
