Devro, as you know everything is being paved! When we rode the TART last year I found roads that I had been on two years before that were gravel at the time and found them paved. Ride em while you can!

What a trip, we had blast! 729 miles total.. got rained on the first day and then as I pulled in my garage today. More report later.. I'm tired!!

Man what a ride !!! Cant wait for some of the vids to pop up especially Glade top trail such a fun ride. When is the next one ? !!

Aaron and I had no idea that we were just ahead of THE largest storm to hit southern Missouri. For some reason on Sunday morning, we both decided we should just hammer down I-44 to get closer to home so that Monday's ride would be short and enjoyable.

Well, we just kept hammering.. then at Cuba headed up Hwy 19 then to Hwy 50 where we could see the storm just to the north of us.. luckily we both got home, literally minutes before the storm hit our homes.

I'm so thankful we didn't decide to camp out Sunday night and just pushed ahead and made it home.. who knows what would of happened.. we are praying for all those in Joplin.. we are just speechless...

Just wondering if there is anything new? We have a new release of TET about ready, and would like to add a prop for you guys in the documentation. The second post will give you a view of scope.

The OTC section begins where BigDog's section ends on the MO/IL border. I could link to the post containing that file direct, but that ain't the whole story, is it? Just link to this thread? Link to the google map? All of the above? None of the above?

The route that BigDog contributed would be a good one to hook up with the OTC, since it basically starts there and ends where the TMOT route we rode ends, Blue Eye, MO. Also where the TART starts/ends. The TMOT that I had worked on is more of a North/South adventure through the northern Mark Twain NF, and BigDog's is a great route if you are coming from IL heading into Arkansas. I guess it really depends on your efforts..and direction.

I can give you both if you'd like, both routes are the same when you get to Willow Springs, MO. All of these routes are mostly gravel.. +80%, similar to a TAT kinda route, some more technical areas than others...

As to direction of TET, there is not necessarily an explicit answer. Crystalline growth might be a good way to think of it. Anyone can contribute given that it links to an existing path.

I have to be careful in what I heard you say. If you are offering them up for inclusion in the TET project, I graciously accept. But TET is kinda like driving a train now, we have to lay tracks far in advance of inclusions. I mean "tracks" both figuratively and literally. We do have a late spring release scheduled (working on some Southern sections), and a tentative release set for next fall that will hopefully clean up some things in PA. To include any of what you may offer, it would be one of those two slots for us to work it in. Let me know if that is your true intent, and again I welcome it.

But, at this moment my intent is simply to supply a link in this release pointing to wherever you feel would be the most convenient for anyone interested in what you guys have done or are doing. I have another week or two of cleanup work before this release, basically housekeeping stuff. Then, I'd be glad to spend some time on developing an integration strategy.

Does anyone have the TART tracks in gpx format? For some reason I can't get my easy gps to accept the garmin format. I was thinking of doing this spring or early summer. My Delorme likes easy gps files along with my Garmin Rino.
