High Front Fender on R 100 GS

I have a '91 bumblebee and really like the looks of some of the high front fenders that I've seen. Any suggestions as far as brands to look for or stay away from?

Thanks!

Acerbis, I had one on my g/s and was fine. Hard to beat for the money. Especialy since the BMW one is a couple of hundred dollars I think.

What are the options for non-BMW front fenders for the R100GS? No more Acerbis Baja now, right? Looking for one, willing to buy used.

Contemplating using a Honda XR's fender. Views?

Cheers

just about any Acerbis will work, just make sure it's for a bigger bike. I got one for a Honda CR230. I did have to make a wedged AL space block as it wanted to hit the engine.

UFO Plastic makes a fender that is a dead ringer for the Acerbis baja -

http://www.ufoplast.com/en/product-d...astics/ME08006

The part number is ME08006. UFO plastic USA can order it for you. Takes a week or two from Italy to USA. Also, if you want to troll eBay and don't mind used stuff, a lot of the Husqvarna's from the 80's used the Acerbis NOST style fender.

Get the Acerbis NOST fender. It's pretty much exactly the same as the baja except without the vents. I have one on my GS front end and it works fine:

Does Acerbis still carry the brace? Or it is a new NOST brace?

Thanks

GS Fender

My R100GS spends the majority of its time as a touring bike. I have the early fender that can be mounted high or low. If someone is looking to swap for the low mount only model, I'm interested. My fender is Bumble Bee black.

Airhead Wrangler, I'm digging your headlight setup. Can you tell me more about that. I was thinking about retro fitting my R100GS with a /7 headlight bucket, but didn't know what to do with the speedo and tach.
