Central FL.. cool places to day trip?
Hi, plan on a short camping trip in Central FL next week or so (not sure) and would like to get some suggestions on a few interesting places to visit in the area. Not a dual sport trip, but some light off hwy would be nice... great to have some GPS coordinates if available.
Thanks!

If you are going to be on your KLR then I would suggest Lake DeLancy. Location is few miles north of Salt Springs.
Best route or nearest paved road is SR19 then ride west. Keep in mind, this is hunting season, so the camping area may have a lot of hunters walking around w/ guns, so don't get freaked out. Most hunters that I've encountered are very bike friendly & it would be wise just to stay on the major hard pack back roads. |

There is a camp site in north of Flagler Beach before The Hammock that is directly on the ocean - could be a nice stop along the coast.
Check out the regional section for more info as well. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=636825
