Thomas, as we stated last year good luck and thanks for sharing your insight here with us. Thanks also for the details on your bike.
See Thomas' 2012 Dakar bike here (perhaps the training bike?)

It will be similar to the Husaberg grafics. No black exept the center/top piece of the fairing that i will keep carbonfiberisch.
i will have some cammo so i feel secure and confident ![]() I´ll keep the Husa look to flirt with the bosses in Austria ![]() 2013 is one big goal and i have to get better with sponsor /found raising to be able to train betwen the Dakar´s. To morrow its a new test day Thomas |

I notice there are two threaded inserts in the back of the rear Safari tank. Are there any brake lights that conveniently line up with this spacing or is there a dust light this was designed for? Any idea if Aqualine had something in mind for these holes? I might move my brake light up there.

For the Sandblast Rally moto I am giving 14/52 a try on my 450 berg. I mostly use the bike for tighter technical riding and the 13/52 combo was good for about 70 mph. I figured I'd play it safe and go one up in the front as I will be in a lot of deep sand. On a 570 15 might be fine...look forward to hearing what others ran in other rallies for gearing.

Riding my 450 with a 13/48 combo in sand. As I told Seth, I think it could pull a 14/48 if needed.
