Now that the rains have come it's time for me to get busy and finish this RR along with a couple of other adventures that I had in the fall. I'm already getting stoked about next year's trips too!

Joe needs a Hugh Hefner style shiny lounge lizard robe for those lazy evenings around the campfire.

Joe is one lucky dog that he doesn't get left behind when you go off having fun on the bike. :)
I've had the problem before of "no pets" so I developed a routine of stopping at 1800 and calling ahead to the various motels until I get one that accepts pets. In Drummondville QC I made six calls before I found one that would take Suzi and I. Due to my poor (non-existent) French, the calls went something like this: "Bon soir, Une chambre pour la nuit avec une petit chien?" The reply in heavily accented Hanglish... "Non, we don't 'av no rooms wit dogs for you." (in my mind I tacked on scenes of him leaning over to call across the room to his wife watching television. "Honey, ders a sicko 'ere dat wants to know if we supply small dogs wit de rooms." Hahaha! It's so much easier to camp. ![]() Here's Suzi: http://rottenxxxronnie.blogspot.com/p/gone-to-dogs.html If you and Joe ever find yourselves in the Toronto area, let us know.

That's a magical place, where you live I not back a week, my legs are still sore from kayaking, but already I want to comeback for a visit.
After being away from my lab for 12 days, he shows nothing but gratidued to me for bringing him back home. Right now he is the most grateful dog that I've ever seen.
