Grill opening is moving up towards being a real grill again, so they can't scoop air from under the car they're pushing.

Maybe we can get back to racing at Daytona?

He is a great crew chief, but he couldn't turn Logano into a consistent winner. I think the jury is still out on Danica. Good driver, good for PR, but can she become a consistent threat? There are lots more teams/vehicles capable of running upfront in NASCAR vs. what she is used to in IndyCar.

Gibbs seems to be going backwards. Losing good people, and two cars that are nowhere most weekends.

Nothing is announced yet. But here is what I suspect. Roush has been working on sponsorship for the #17. Word is Best Buy is going to pick up the major sponsorship on that car. Once that is all sorted out, they are going to try and get a full package for the #6 car and Trevor will be the driver. Providing they can find a sponsor. If not he will do what he can with the Wood Brothers and their limited budget. If Roush can get the 6 car back in the green, Ricky Stenhouse will move to the #21 for the partial schedule. Non of which has been announced, but Jack is high on the kid and I know he wants to keep him in Roush equipment before someone else snatches him up. Stenhouse is the next big deal, so the 21 will work out well to give him a few races before he goes for the ROTY in cup.

Now of course, someone else could come up with a package and all that will be crap.

My guess is that she won't threaten for wins but will eventually settle into 10-15 and bring the car home more often than not. She's conservative and steady. Whether that's enough to sustain a career in NASCAR, I don't know.

Logano is half the man that Danica is.

I'm no fan of Danica, what with the constant whining and all, but with Zippy and on a team with Stewart I could see the team pushing her to a win just to make a point and to have a hand in history.

When did Nascar cars switch from caged road cars to full on tube frame specials? Or Has Nascar always been one off specials and before those it wasnt called Nascar?

It's official now. Dinger had something good going at RPM and improving. I wonder if this is a good move or not? Losing Best Buy was apparently the impetus. They are talking about Ragan going to the 43.....I wish STP could step up again for that car.....

I was really hoping AJ would stay with the 43, it seemed like they were on the right track.

I think RPM should snatch a no name out of a dirt car or something that will work for less money and throw the money at the car/team.

Ragan's reume is not strong enough to get huge money right now....I hope that is the plan. His results at RFR were not nearly what was anticipated from his coming up. It would be cool to see a silver crown guy get a shot too. I don't think RPM is in a position to wait for results though. They need them now.

You might be onto something. Road course attendance was higher than some of the little tracks in 2011.
