I hope he sets up Pay Pal, as my bank fees for wire transfer was high!!! Plus that will make future sales easy for him easier...a win win situation!! Setting up some sort of account will help him sell more kits, the foreign market isn't one to be ignored as there are plenty of guys willing to drop the money!! This will get the word out that there an easy option for people wanting better forks with out the trouble if figuring out what components to source out.

Thanks for the work Kokopelli

When I worked at a BMW shop, I helped a lot customers get this type of information for their suspension upgrades.

Which Bike = Make, Model, Year
How Heavy = What percentage (%) do you ride with a passenger (and what do they weigh?) Also do you carry loaded saddlebags/topcase, etc (and what do they weigh and what percentage of the time?)
Which Tires (Tyres) = What type of riding? Off-road, commute, adventure or sport-touring , etc.? Example: 60% commute 30% adventure touring 10% aggressive off-road.
Rider Weight = what you weigh WITH your gear on

I would suggest we (as in non-metric countries) convert pounds or stones to kilograms so Herr Hubert doesn't need to worry about the math.

I'll translate his form and make it available. It's actually Herr Hofmann, Hubert is his first name.

Sorry to keep you guys hanging on.
My final decision is I'm OUT, I'm afraid.
Two G/S gearboxes being rebuilt right now...

No worries, but the door is still open, should you change your mind. I am still waiting for his email.

Not the Race Tech inserts, but I scarfed the HPN (notice the white power box?) from Anton's Page. Hopefully they will be similar...or better

Wasn't the word that HPN now buys their inserts from this guy since the original supplier stopped production?

Sorry to keep you guys hanging like this, but I have not yet had the email he's promised me. He did let on that he was quite busy. Apparently he is also doing a bit of work for Porsche.

However, that doesn't help us much, especially not me, since I am in prime riding season. Bottomed out the forks twice last weekend and collected a lot of this...

At least I got to see how the pros get around the tight corners at warp speed. It seems to be a matter of trying to throw as much road as possible behind you, while you magically drift around the corner.

The bike got really tired a couple of times and had to lay on it's side. That's one lazy bike and hard to get off it's ass once settled in.

I was doing ok, until some guys blocked my line, so I had to lay her down Of course you only see me picking it up.

That's our local beach. The've lowered the speed limit to 50km/h, but since they haven't got around to putting cameras up, we may have exceeded that a tad. Some more than others.

The R80 does ok, as long as I have speed and the feet on the pegs. That waddling doesn't work for me.
