A 50km introductory ride through the Dandenongs (the hills just outside of Melbourne) before breakfast.





After the bike had cooled, it was time to start fitting some of the many many many accessories that had been arriving from the internet over the last two weeks.

I won’t bore you with the details but will mention just two.

Crashbars – I decided to go with a big ficke-off set as I anticipate that they are going to get a heck of a lot of use.

Headlight protector – hugely extravagant at three times the price of the factory plastic cover but it just looks so tough…



Cruising home from an afternoon ride who should I see? Naturally, I just had to stop, say my thanks and offer him a ride :)
