Or you could wait until May 12th and do the Welsh National Road rally which is a really good blast around er Wales.

Anyway Derek, any dirt planned on this jaunt?

No all tar
Never done a road rally on 2 wheels, like a nav scatter? Might do that as well!

Yes, the WNR is like a scatter rally in that they send you a schematic map of the towns where the clues are and the answers will be, so that you can pre-plot a route according to what award you're going for. Then, on the day, when you sign on, you get the list of what you're actually looking for in those towns.
I've done it for the last 5 years with a mate in the RAT club and almost always really enjoyed it.
So far, there's three of us keen to go. Let me know if you want to do it and I'll keep you abreast of our plans.

A bit quiet in here. Is no-one braving the weather and mud?

Why does it have to be a German tractor? You can pick up a good quality Tiger955i for 3K which'll come with luggage. Large, comfy, effortless bikes.

And don't worry about miles on these. I know plenty with high miles and they're still sweet. Mine's done 67000 miles without problems.

You're 'avin' a 'effin' LARF!
Lighter, quicker, more reliable than the 1150GS you're looking for.
