Happy holidays to everyone and thanks for all the interest and support in the project. Just a couple of days before I get on a plane and head south to meet the rest of the team. A house has been rented where everyone is meeting up to spend the remaining days before the race starts. Packing the truck, last minute bike preps, scrutineering, ASO safety meetings, etc are sure to keep everyone busy.

This promises to be quite the experience, I'm VERY excited and look forward to sharing it with you.

Activated a new SPOT tracker if anyone is interested in following the support team. I wont have it on all the time but I'll try to send a signal a few times a day

Careful ASO used to have a rule against SPOT in support vehicles during the race.

The stress of leaving is over

Enjoying a cocktail at the airport, 25 hours of airports left to go. Only fear now is my luggage going missing...oh and not having a smoke until tomorrow night ;yikes

As long as you're not flying with American Airlines, then your luggage should be fine.
