I'm Back on The Bike

Well after 3 months off my bike with a knee reco and a loss of license ,i got a chance to get away by myself for a 2 day ride
1 only went out to Urbanville for a quick ride and a camp in the pine forest
And as is the way it rained on my parade

After going down duck creek rd , i pulled into Rathdownie as it started to piss down so i ducked for cover and looked west and it was black

my plan was to fumble my way to woodenbong trying out a few side rd's but i thought stuff it ...soon as the rain broke i made way for the pub

I got the Crown hotel about 4pm and went inside to see Darrel ...Got a chance for him to make me larf again with 1 of his storys and i downed 3 schooners ...darrel told me i was mad to head into the forest with the storms hanging round ....But i was here now so no turning back .

I grabbed a 6er off gold stubbies and a 4 pack of JD cans and i was set
ripped over to the shop and grabbed my bag of ice

off toward taloom falls ...got there and the crossing had a rd closed sign on it ....luck i went round that over the crossing and off into the forest

I found an old wood cutters shed .. there everywhere in there
and made camp under the tin ..nothing but me the cow shit and tree's
home for tonight

heaps of room and nice and dry

there was some old 44's cut in half so i made a fire and cracked me first stubbie

my pannier come esky .. still had ice in the morning

I forgot me bloody fork didnt i .. but i worked my way round it
tried the 10mm first but to small to scoop with so i swapped out to a 12mm

I dont recall much after this .... i got my self a lil bit pissy

rained most of the night but i had a good time anyway's .....

Cheer's

Ridin

I bet it felt good to be back out ridin even if it was in the rain. Hey any port in a storm, bet the old shed looked pretty darn good and dry, too.

yes thanks guys .. it was just good to be out on the bike .....seen a few guys heading out on a trip just lone rider's .... always good to wave and feel the companionship even tho your alone

The main idea was to test out my bike and the mods i have done to it over the last 3 months while off the bike ... all went well with no issue's and great to have a charge point to charge my phone when using the music player on it

Just me and the whip birds and some cool tunes around the camp fire
think i rolled into bed at about 11.30 after i drank all my piss

Way to be back on the bike. Some very clever innovations on that trip!

Enjoy the holidays!
