Nope. RFM Invites have to come from RFM members. As far as I'm aware, they have no channel or provision to request. BTW, they also don't get along with the other site... lot's of history there...

Trying to follow the Dakar is the only reason I've ever done twitter, so I'm going to jump into the bittorrent world.

uTorrent or another program?

(I'm guessing that's like a "which oil is best" question. Is there a simple answer for a noob that just wants the best basic program?)

Only ever used Vuze but I have no reason to change but it seems like everything got to 80ish percent and the the seeders dropped off.

If you use firefox or any other youtube downloader, they
are available in 720 HD, don't know for how long though.

Hands down utorrent for a client. Very lightweight and does everything you need. Bandwidth throttling, auto complete when ratio is hit, bandwidth scheduling etc. I have my utorrent watch a dropbox folder on my machine at home. It auto starts any file that gets uploaded to it. I can queue up stuff from my phone from anywhere I get cell service. Brilliant!

thanks, maybe that's the explanation why nobody replies to the requests in their invite thread :(

Torrent Elitism is what it is... We're the cool kids and we don't share. I don't get it. We're all just fans of racing, why all the fuss? Can't we all just get along?

Seems by the time I find something I want, there are 100 seeds and no downloaders. I get the files fast, but it kills my ratio.

RFM will get it first. If you have RFM, you don't really need the another source.

For Dakar stuff, you will want to get it ASAP. After 24hrs, everyone has it. Although if you seed all day for weeks/months afterwards, you can maybe dig yourself out of the hole. Best to get it early and seed for a few hours and stay above it.
