That was on my list, but we didn't get to it. Felt like I needed to break the call off once we got to the 20min point. I'll definitely ask him next time we do a live call.


Looking at the timing, Ned finished at 15:18, exactly 10 minutes before Holowczyc who was the first car physically through the finish (15:28). So I'd think it hasn't happened yet, but it almost undoubtedly will at some point.

Hi Nate Thanks!! I just finally got caught up the details in the other thread...I sure hope he's alright and can manage to get back to the Bivouac and get his bike back up to par-or is he now officially out?? It's past 11:30 over there already. Crikey!

He has until the start of the special tomorrow morning to make it in, though without major wrenching he'd still be in the same boat.

Timing may not update between now and then, so keep an ear peeled for the first hand reports from D99.

Did I hear him say in the interview today that he pushed the motor harder than he had ever pushed a motor before?

Yeah, and on the live Eurosport coverage Gordon and some of the other cars were passing multiple bikes coming in to the end of the special so it could definately happen. That having been said, the passes that I saw looked very polite.
