New Shoes for the Winter Slop

What tires do you like best for Winter slop, more dirt oriented dual sport riding in the Southeast? And what do you think about the new Trials tires set ups?

I' m bumping this to see if I can get some discussion started. I know the subject of tires is discussed alot. But, latest tire technology is constantly changing, so I wanted to get y'all's feelings, especially in light of the messy conditions that are prevalent this time of year in the South.

In the original post, I had also included a link to my local tire shop. Went back and re-read it and it could sound like some Spam. It's not! I have no affiliation with the shop. Just a good hard working shop and I wanted to give him a plug. But the experience with new tires got me to thinking about this topic. So, if you don't mind share your thoughts.

A few have made comments that the Shinko 705 does pretty well. Not a wide selection of sizes and may have to run tubes.A search will turn up some threads on the 705.

Trials tires typically do poor in mud especially clay. They dont clean out easy.
