Is there any comment or discussion where you are about the Peterhansel behavior, when he pushed (with is car) a guy with his bike, trying to cross a small river ?

+1, very curious about this myself. If I had been waiting on the other side of that river, I would have at least reached in and decked the driver or codriver as they finished fording the main flow of the river. I can't believe that was on camera and they have not been reprimanded for it in any way. That was absolute negligence for the safety of others, complete bully behavior. They ought to be DQ'ed at the very least.

Yes..I agree that motorcyclist should be heavily penalized for getting in the way of the French Hero.

Not to pollute this thread with F5-lore, but word is that Peterhansel had to apologize to the rider at the bivouac - and ADVinmate vbenedic had the same thing happening to him with worse results - he's out of the rally.

I spoke with french people (living in France and watching french TV)... not a fucking word in any media!

Thanks, I coul dnot make much sense of the F5irehose banter regarding the topic and it's not mentioned anywhere else. Pitty they slap him on the wrist with an apology and he gets off easy. I have done enough racing alongside cars to consider them incompatible with motorcycles on any given course, and seeing things like that just cement that feeling further in place. A person in a cage, no matter who it is, always seems to lose a little regard(or a lot...) for others around them and it can be seen at the highest levels of racing - just like this.
