Nice job Ned!!!! Lima is just around the bend.
I've ordered an extra piece of gear today as well. I started off way back buying him a front tire, now he can get himself a steak on me! At least, I hope that's how this works. Meh, need the clothing anyhow, my RPA shirts are wearing out.

Thanks to all the awesome support, they can't grow t-shirts fast enough for Duke to print and me to ship-it's incredible and we're honestly doing our best to get the goodies out to you as fast as we can (but there's definitely going to be a bunch of folks getting their shirts well after the race, they will get there!)
A little ribbing needs to be in place or we would suspect there was someone else hi-jacking the keyboard..
I should have a F5 shirt waiting for me down at the PO Box.

I am going to suit up and Dakar the back roads to get it .

If you're not sure whether or not you ordered the right size, send me an e-mail through the link here and I'll do my best to verify/correct the size before shipping.

I don't handle F5's...all the other cool shirts Duke makes like the Safety Third and all the ADV Rider gear comes directly from Dukes store, Fattee's t-shirts in Salida, Colorado-perfect reminder that that Duke isn't just putting his sweat and blood into another batch of shirts before heading out for a trip (seriously Duke, Thanks a ton for squeezing another batch in before your trip, I know you've been swamped!!)-he's also a major sponsor of Ned's race effort

So, don't forget to take a peek at www.fattees.com, check out the neat shirts and definitely stop by the store if you're visiting Colorado. Duke and BonnieAbbzug are some of the friendliest, most genuine folks you'll ever meet-you're seriously missing out if you're passing up the opportunity

Natalie, I got that batch finished, and you'll have them Tuesday (if not sooner). I'm thinking it's not going to be enough for this shipment, though. I promise, I'll print the rest as soon as I get back from the Yucatan; first week of February...

Great interview

Wonderful interview. Nedster's genial attitude, analytical skills and willingness to have fun are wonderful. He's got a great, dry wit and huge wisdom. I love what he says about participating in the racing: being part of the same gruelling and intense event makes for a beautiful camaraderie. Thanks PackMule and Ned: huge fun to hear these interviews. Ned's Mom is a lucky Gal to have such a cool son.

Ned is doing a wonderful job of riding and equally wonderful job of communicating what it is like to see this whole adventure through his eyes.
Thank you Packmule for going to the trouble to make these interviews and talks available to us all stuck here in radio land.
