Lately there has been a great deal of discussion on the internet about LED lights and "lumens".
Many suppliers claim a higher output than the light actually produces. Its not hard to find lights that by all appearances are identical (and most likely are) but depending on who is selling them, there ratings (in terms of lumens) vary. Sometimes quite a bit. Without proper equipment and facilities to actually test these lights, its hard to say exactly what the output is. This sparked some debate with us and we did some "not so scientific" testing this past weekend. Our tests put our lights side by side with Halogen style units and see how they compare. With that said, we will adding the "compares to" rating to all our lights here and on our website. This may result in a more "conservative" claim in terms of Lumens. While we cant (and wont) police the claims of others, we will do our very best to do so of ourselves. ---edit: I forgot to add that this post is in no way the result of any complaints or negative feedback we have gotten about our lights. Everyone we have heard from is more than happy with the volume of light produced. Thanks, -Brian

The advantages that they have is that they draw so little current they can be used on most any bike. Even those without batteries. They are very light weight (about 3.5 ounces) and easy to mount. I first mounted them up on my old DR200 that I commuted on. The headlight on it sucked and I was looking for a way to make myself less invisible in traffic. These ran off the stator on that bike and did the trick as far as being "seen" was concerned. Since then, we changed the design a bit and added stainless steel nuts and bolts and the rest is history (so to speak) I personally run with them on my DRZ (bolt right up where the reflectors were) and we've sold several of them to folks riding Dual Sports who ride in city traffic and on trails where the potential of an ATV coming the other way exsists ![]() thanks again for asking. -Brian

I'm late in thanking Brian for the great service last month. I placed a special order for some lights and Brian was great in giving me an estimate of the delay over the holiday season. He kept me updated so that I never had to wonder about the status of the order, and the darned things shipped much earlier than expected. Outstanding customer service, Brian!
Oh, and of course the lights are exactly as promised and are great. I was blown away by how carefully you packed them, too! No affiliation, just an extremely happy customer.

Brian,
I would like to purchase a set LED spotlights and a set of DRL's. I called MondoMotos to place my order but no one answered. I had a couple of questions before ordering. Eddy

Brian, I got my LED spotlights and DRL lights, they are being installed this week along with my Photon Blasters. They look and feel like a quality product. Will be sure to post pictures! I can't wait to see how much things improve over the DISMAL BMW lights. Will see how things look before coverting the stock lights to HID! I won't stop until the traffic pirates bother me too much!
