I have old Happy Trails panniers and didn't like the way they only attach at the tops and can flop around. So I made some chingas out of Delrin to anchor them to the rear of the passenger pegs bracket. These ones are very rough, just to get the idea and try working with Delrin. In the near future I'll make some nice ones incorporating what I've learned from these.
