As others said, 606s rock for this area. I use them on my GS exclusively. I've started using MX51s on my 450 and love them too (they're usually slightly cheaper than 606s).

Cranky, I'm going to need some new tires about that time. I've liked the ones I got from you before (probably 40% left now?), should I just get a new set, or something else?
The organizational structure this year has expanded greatly so I'm expecting many positive improvements at the event. ![]() Anders

Anders, I can hook you up with a set.
The trials tire worked great when the bike was running. I'm a C rider, so please take that into consideration when getting tire tips from me

What is the tire of choice for those stuck using 17" rear tires? Currently on T63's but they will be worn out by July

Regular rally expense. probably 250-300 range entry fee, $100 annual membership and license, then bus/food/lodging.
We did what I thought was a pretty good housing thing last time. I found a five bedroom suite with a hot tub and a garage for like, $750 for four days or something like that, slept 12-18, through VRBO.com. That kind of thing will cut down on nightly housing fee, depending on how many people. There's a ton of them available in the summertime, right next door to reg/tech/start. As we get closer I'll probably try and do something like that again, I think it worked out OK last time.

Hasn't been published yet. The car guys will probably end up paying 800-900 dollars per entry. Bike guys around 300-350 per entry.
