Be careful who you are buying from. The Montana is an expensive piece and Garmin may not honor your warranty if purchased from a source other than an authorized dealer.

Also in the past some of the low-ball guys were removing mounts etc from and charging extra for them. And selling gray market units as well. Rare but it has happened.

Montana's do not come with mount(s) in the Box like the zumo 550/660/665.

Good luck with EMS. I ordered and later got the dreaded "Sorry, we don't have any" email days after completing the order.

Just wait, GPSCITY won't divulge the sale date but I think they will have a really big sale as they did for black friday which was deeply discounted. I'll post it here when they dump their inventory, just before or after xmas.

I got a Montana 600 for $399 from GPSCentral during their "Black Friday" sale. Who knows when/if they'll have another. GPSCity would not match that price (I asked).

I went that route as well after EMS screwed me. Two days from Canada to PA. It was a very smooth transaction.

Best price on Garmin 650T

I have been checking the GPS Central and GPS City daily and as mentioned by previous poster they have not put the 650T on sale yet. It has been at $589 for the past two weeks. I checked ebay and amazon also but as a previous posted stated Garmin may not recognize the warranty from those sellers. If anyone knows of a better price please post here or PM me. Thanks.

Or if you know when the sale will occur please advise.

The price-tracking site decide.com tries to track and anticipate price changes for online electronics. It makes recommendations on whether the time is right to buy. You can have it send you alerts for price drops and increases.

$558's a lousy price - most places sell it for less than that at their regular rate.

The regular price at GPSCity.com is $519 on the 650.
