Can I suggest leaving Hwy Market cross street to Magnolia to dirt on Black Canyon right on Mesa Grande (we did not ride this end of MG last time) right on 79 to Santa Ysabel. Takes 20 minutes extra but no traffic and popo.

We definitely did this section. If Santa Ysabel TT is open, we should divert and chek it out.

We did not ride the eastern end Mesa Grande Rd...we came up west from the Hideout.
The SY tt should be open, pretty much count on it in May. I can recon it the day before.

A couple of pieces of info, just in case:
The gas station at Warner Springs is closed. The Palomar Divide was closed last weekend for weather; this time of year it's hit and miss. If the Palomar Divide is closed you could take the Cooper Cienaga (sp?) TT to Anza, it is always open.

If everyone is agreeable, I may have some custom vinyl stickers made to commemorate the event. I'll get a few quotes and let everyone know what the per-head would be. I'm shooting for $2-$3, but we'll see. -Blake

I may stay and extra night in Idyllwild. I've never been to Idyllwind and also have a 1000 Trails membership and never stayed at the Idyllwild camp ground. That maybe worth taking that Monday off work.

Still IN!!! What kind of beer does everyone like? I've started home brewing and should have my third batch ready to drink about the time this is ready. I make 5 a gallon batch which translates to 2 cases of 24. Of course we will need to figure out a way to get it to butterfield ahead of time as well but that shouldn't be to difficult. No problem, I was planning on it. Also going to talk to friends that just bought Packards for a coffee/snack deal for us or a breakfast deal at a local restaurant.
