Wow! Nice deal! I am assuming you had to buy the racks for the tiger?

Previously there were two occasions when it would not crank after stalling, but this was quickly fixed by turning off and on again (maybe Micrososft operataing system???). Dealer said the same thing happened to him and cycling the kill switch fixed it. No big deal once you know the workaround but annoying all the same.

Just did a quick search and it seems others have had the problem with refusing to crank, but I couldn't find anything about kicking over but not atually starting.

Don't feel like I can trust it now. What if this happens far away from any backup? Maybe next time it won't start at all.

Wonder if this will have created a fault code that can be read...
I have had the same thing happen to me, but his was after 500km in some seriously dusty conditions. The bike stalled several times toward the end. Of the ride and would not run at idle even after turning the bike off to let the stepper motor go through its cycle. Had to ride and keep some revs up as not to stall. Any way after we had a rest stop I went and turned the bike off as to get the stepper motor to do its cycle and it was fine for the 100 km ride home on the black stuff. The next day after a 770km weekend I went out and put a long flexible hose on my compressor gun and blew out all the area and then washed the bike. Have been for a good ride today and there is no problem.

So my thought on this matters that being a new bike this stepper motor may have some build up of dust in the area and there may have been some lube there from being assembled at the factory (which may have attracted dust) I intend pulling the bike apart and giving the area a clean and lube with a lube that won't attract dust

That does look nice

What is involved in the 6K ? Do you have a checklist for the servicing intervals ?

6000 must be a bit more involved and a valve check is in the duty's. If he doesnt post it I'll get the list this afternoon. I edited the last post I thought it was 600. Thats what Im doing today.

Just ordered stickers. Perfect, there is untapped HP in such fine vinyl products.

It is in your manual. I just followed what it said. Basically, check all fluids, change oil and oil filter (Amsoil baby!), your supposed to change your chain guard rail (the long plastic piece that sits on your swing arm that the chain rubs on), check tire tread depth, check all brake pads, blah blah blah... I also took advatage of the cold weather and made sure all of my bolts were tights, greased things that need grease, etc.

I don't have a manual

I was just looking for a copy of the checklist - just trying to figure out what needs to be done so I can figure out if I can/will do the 6K or not. I'm hoping it's nothing more than an oil/filter change and a check of bolts and suck like.

I recently put the Triumph tall/adjustable windscreen on my Roadie and can say for me, it works perfect. I also got a new helmet that cut noise considerably. I have compared my old Arai Corsair and the new Nexx Carbon and the Nexx is much quieter.
Maybe I'll do some photos.
