1 to 3 bedroom suites? Are they kidding? Surely there must be a designated group campground. This isn't a Goldwing rally is it?

....a one day ride if 50/50 country two-lane/gravel, ....or three hours on boring highway slab. I don't care when we leave, I can plan for anything pretty easily, so whatever you've got time for. ...but my vote is...... two days of dirt ![]() So....show up at my place Tuesday afternoon, sometime/anytime, and we can leave Wednesday morning and get into the Rally by 5-ish Thursday evening. Plenty of country camping space at my house, and a shower. BBQ, campfire , and breakfast in the AM.Seriously, I have lots of space, and all are welcome ![]() ...... I'll be very glad to show you all our local gems on the way down South to Bend. There are many great kick-ass & unimproved, Wilderness border roads all the way there. And one GREAT (I mean GREAT !!) pavement twisty near the end, with a very neat volcanic observatory at it's summit. Edit: I plan to tent camp when I get to the Rally. I'd rather spend money on my bike/gas than in any Hotel/Motel

I'm up for camping too, but not knowing the area, local rider info would be of great help.
In years past it was nice to be close to the event as to have a place to hang out and socialize. I prefer not to have to hop on a bike after a beer and meal to ride back 10 miles to camp next to a freeway. A nice place that we can keep our gear safe as we venture off is a big plus too. Probably be best to get some campgrounds sorted now and reserved so they don't fill up to fast. Any local riders willing to help with the leg work?

Special lady friend!
my special lady friend will be staying at the camp site. she will watch all our stuff, brandishing a shot gun, while we are out tearing it up. she just wants somewhere to stay away from all the noise etc. local knowledge would be good. i will probably get there several days early to set up camp and RIDE! i don't want to camp at an ATV unload area. noisy and rowdy. been there, done that east of Bend.

There is a real nice State campground just on the north side of Bend. You can rent a yurt for $29/day. Sleeps 3 with lots of room for gear etc.
tenting is $19.

Excited to be attending
Hi Everyone, I am signed up and planning to attend. I am bringing my truck with a camper and would definitely like to know where there is a good camping spot near the rally. It would be fun to have a small bunch of us Adv Riders camping together so we can have our social event away from the event. I would be happy to stash some of the bike-in folk's gear in my camper while we are out riding. Hopefully some Bend locals will help us with some camping guidance. I look forward to meeting some of you at this fine event.
