It's nice not having to deal with lots of traffic.
Last year I also went down the road to Conasauga Falls but then, like you, didn't feel like hiking down to actually see the falls.

Ah, the Cherohala Skyway....one of the best roads in the U.S...IMO. Glad you had a good ride and thanks for sharing it with us.
If you wanted to see a waterfall, you could have turned off the CS and ridden to Bald River Falls. It's in it's splendor with all the rain we've had. The road might have been icey though. Ya never know this time of year. I'm kinda surprised there wasn't salt all over the CS. Anyway, y'all come back, ya hear?
