If you come in from the North you can avoid actually going through the water crossings. But they are really easy. The roads had a fresh rain on them and weren't "slick as snot". The bottom of the fjords are more sand/gravel/shale, not muddy. Not sure how deep the water water but it was below my foot pegs.

Hey Bucho
Great new tag! It must have been a challenge riding through the fog?

The footpegs on the Connie? I would've thought a lot deeper than that. Great tag!

Hey MD Taggers,

Since we have never started a "Chatter" thread, unlike some of our southern, northern and eastern brethren...
(WayneJ, if you want this nuked, it will happen.)

Our friend Skierd is on the move again: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=767414

Shall we see him off again? Even though it seems that is all we do.

Hey Skierd, We can't miss you if you don't go away!

I was thinking getting him wrecked at the MRT: http://www.yelp.com/biz/mount-royal-tavern-baltimore

The first time I crossed it the brick toll booth wasn't there. Then it was a small wooden booth on the side of the road. There was an old woman in it that stuck a stick out the window with a tin cup fastened to the end. 25 cents I think.

The more I think about this, the more I like it.

Thursday night at Mt Royal Tavern. Time? After work-ish (I'm off all day so the start time matters not to me). All are welcome, more the merrier, etc.

I'm going to miss you guys and Maryland. Hopefully for real this time. Its been a pleasure riding with y'all!

Dave

PS it might be a good idea to not leave this tag at Green Ridge where I can get it unless you want me to strand it out in far might-as-well-be-WV MD until the non-thaw.

Glad you guys had fun. I knew there would be a few people who would enjoy that one.

How was the water crossing below the bridge? I've done it before on my DR. I wasn't going to try it on the Concours w/out somebody going first so I could see the water depth!
