Apparently, Safari's make it easier to ride a front flat 45 miles back to safety. Unfortunately, they also make it easier to pinchflat the 3 tubes you carry with you.

I got 400 miles, without touching a foot down, out of my 2001 Triumph Tiger with 6 gal std tank and 4 gal custom aluminum LDrider type of rear tank, when I did all my BC, Alaska, NWT riding back in 2003 but this is the OC thread so I can't post a pic of it here.
![]() My 990 only has 7.2 gals on it so I don't qualify unless I add a Rotopax or two. |
