Maybe I've been on my laptop a bit too long today, but... these photos make the scenes look like miniatures in a diorama; the 990 looks like a toy! What kind of camera & lens did you use?

It's a "filter"/effect used either in camera or post processing.

The 990s have a 5.28 gallon tank and the 950s had an ever-so-sligntly larger amount due to the fact they have an external fuel pump (the 990s use an internal fuel pump). The stock tanks are not plastic and do not expand appreciably.

I've never run it dry yet, so didn't know actuals. There are ALL sorts of numbers out there on the webs. With 5.8 being the most common...

I guess I WAS at the laptop too long because I missed the "Tilt-Shift" in the title of the post. Thanks xdbx, for the PM with the explanation and link... pretty interesting techniques!
