In Oaxaca
If you're still in Oaxaca, and stop by Cajiga (Juan Cajiga's) motorcycle shop, please say hi to Juan from Peter and I. We spent a few days there in 2008, when a piece of plastic accidentally broke off Peter's oil cap and fell into the engine. Just how far do we take this thing apart to get that plastic out!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?
(It was okay. Peter found the plastic in the old oil like 5 months later in Germany : )

Let me know when you're coming through Vancouver!!
For those of you who don't know, Julio is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet on a bike(He probably started on a Honda). He singlehandedly bailed out me and Nick when we ran into trouble in Guatemala on our trips. Looking forward to a wicked trip report!

This morning I left Oaxaca, took the cuota to Tehuacan and from there I took the 150 up in the mountains to Acultzingo.
On one part of the road the turns are kind of thight , so you have switch lane at a certain point ...really confusing if you have to switch over to the wrong side of the road ![]() From there to Orizaba, then towrds Puebla to Ciudad Sedran and from there some old backroads towards Guadalupe Victoria and finally to Perote . Great ride ( Thx Mike for the info} , almost all the time with a great view on the Pico de Orizaba and Cofre de Perote, wich I will try tomorrow to ride up all the way to the summit at 4200 m ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That photo with the hacienda, yep, that is the old road. Glad you enjoyed it, and if you liked that, I think you'll find Friday morning interesting.
