That depends, where are you coming from? And accommodations for this event are almost all tenting with a couple of exceptions that will stay in my house. Have you taken time to look at any of the past Soiree threads in my sig line?

there's no surfing here, Gregster must have gotten his other vacation pics mixed in there by accident.

Hey Rudy, it's not close by any means but if you take the long ferry at least one way it will save you a day of saddle time but not hours. Not sure where you live but you're looking at a minimum of 2 long days to get to the ferry and if you take the short boat it's another 900 km's across the island to get to my house. In the past most folks have arrived on the long boat and gone home the short boat to make a loop. Postal code at my house is A0B 2R0, coordinates: 48° 2'43.68"N, 53° 9'29.54"W
Go check out MZCountryboy's links on his sig line to check out more pics from the 2 times he came up.

Looking forward to seeing you Greg buddy, are you hitting any of the other rallies?

Ok, I'm going to start a registration list so if you want in PM me with your real first and last name, RTR username if you have one, t-shirt size if you plan to buy one. I might be able to roll them into the registration fee seeing as it's BYOB this year for a change.

Only 1750 miles? The first time I did CroMag by way of Labrador it took me exactly 4000 km's to get to the spot I pitched my tent.

You can check out all of that ferry stuff here: Marine Atlantic. There is a boat scheduled to leave August 29th 14:30 from North Sydney arriving Thursday the 30th at 06:00, which will make meeting it a treat for us

I would make a reservation on that boat and do it now if you want a cabin which makes life a whole lot better for 14 hours. I think they sleep 4 so maybe you can team up with a few more?

This gives you an idea of where Skibum's place is.

Sounds like Charlie, our son, when he was downloading freeride bike movies on our dialup connection, with a torrent client many moons ago. It would take him a week to get one...
