The G650 GS Thread

My 2009 G650GS has just about 9k miles on it (I have other bikes), and has been everywhere with me. There are some mods I did that are on my blog, but I'll post them here, eventually.

TT fork protectors
rear master and reservoir guards
hardwired GPS
Ztechnik touring screen
BMW engine guards
BMW handguards (plastic, but good for rain)
Givi luggage
home-made lightbar

Anyway, with 9k miles, I just found my fork seals are leaking. My warranty expires in April, and BMW says they will cover new seals under warranty Of course, once the bike is on the lift, I'll have the dealer check everything before the warranty expires.

Hey guys, Im new to this forum and am trying to add a photo of my 05 650GS, how do I do it as when I click add image it asks for the URL, but the photos are on my computer not on a URL, can anyone help,

You can't post a picture directly from your computer's hard drive. You have to upload the picture from your computer to a hosting site (photobucket, flicker, mimeo etc.,) and then from there you copy and paste the url to your ADV message using the tool bar above....

Yep, it's a bit of a change, lol. Planning on doing some off road eventually.

Ive had the GS for a while now but havent had as much time to explore too much. put it on the earnslaw and headed to walter peak station and rode out which was cool. Noone cares who u are on the earnslaw intil your on there with a bike.

This from last weekend. Up buy Dargiville, dropped it on some gravel on the way to the beach, hence the missing nose, sorted it now though. Baylys Beach.
