Central NY/Catskills dualsport riding

The weather seems to be changing for the better.

I'm trying to organize a dualsport ride in the spring.
I would love to share a few of my loops in the Sidney, Walton, Hancock area. I usually do a 100 mile ride that consists of 50% dirt forest roads around the Cannonsville reservoir.

Sounds good. That's a nice area. Right now some friends and I are planning to spend a few days around Hunter Mtn. some time this April. We normally ride in through Deposit along the reservoirs. M y riding friends live in Binghamton area, me near Syracuse. Be cool to link up for a ride. We normally camp a few nights at the Devil's Tombstone campsite near Hunter.
Some wanna wire their seats to provide warmth to their taints, I just want the option of operation without light.

Wifey and I, we were exploring some forest roads near Sydney back in 2010. Great riding there

I'd be down

I'm up in Hamden / Delhi most weekends.
I'm getting in to dual sport riding the past two years on my little CRF230L and I've been checking out the sweet loops you've posted in the area (as best I can with no GPS unit yet!). Ready to step up to an 'adult' bike this year, especially to do group rides.

Drop me a line if you want to ride, I'll do my best to keep up!

Hey cannonsville rider. I've been riding your tracks around the Walton area, gotta say thanks for laying these out. I've now upgraded to an XRL and a DRZ. I'm up in your neck of the woods most weekends, one of your tracks goes by my place on Ridge Road. I'm bringing some buddies up from NYC this weekend to ride/ camp on my land and attend the neighbors pig roast Saturday, would be cool to meet up sometime.
