I just installed my Doubletake mirrors a couple of days ago. They shipped FAST and went on the 990 adventure very easy. The one that I bought have the long Ram mount arms and give me the same rear view as the stock (as far as I can tell). I have them folded in over the bar clamp at the moment, out of the way, Too easy!

30 second install, have the 2" arms at the moment, will try them first to see how they work before trying the 3". Looks like they stay still till you want them to move.

Ordered a set for my BMW F650 Dakar. The holes in the handlebar mounts are 8mm, so had to order those from TwistedThrottle, might want to include those on your web page ??

I have been using these for well over a year now, they continue to work great. Excellent product. Really nice not to have to worry about a mirror breaking off the clutch mount should you happen to topple over....

Pictures

Took Pictures today,

I had to remove the adapter blocks that are reverse threaded, and install the ram balls direct into the bar (clutch and brake) control blocks. I used a bit of medium strength (blue) locktite and then used the ram arm (tightened on the ball) to tighten the ball into the hole.

No idea about your stub question but if you're only going to buy one set, why wouldn't you put one mirror on the left side of each bike instead of both on the one bike, then having to move them over each time?

The Husky uses the same base as the KTM- 10 x 1.25.

Work great on a DL 650 with the 3" stems.

Got a good workout this weekend. Didn't get to really stress test them (I didn't drop *my* bike ), so just a few smacks from dangling vines at low speeds. No problems with them moving though and the bike went through some pretty tough country.

Great field of view, and so little vibration I could keep track of the 3 - no 4 - bikes tailing me on the way home on the slab.

Excellent !

Pete

Good day Neduro!!

I bought a full set of DT Mirrors, with the ball studs and the arms. Now, I bought that set on the 18th, but received no confirmation as if they were shipped or not. I'm leaving for a 2200 miles trip soon, and I was hopeful to receive them before I get on my way...

Any idea? Should I be worried...? LoL

Based on your email address matching your username, yours shipped on the 19th... but I hate to commit to the speed of Canada Post. They left our hands on time... but whether they get into yours is beyond me!
