The nearest Walmart / Safeway will be in Benson, about 17 miles away down I-10. There are a few back routes you can take from Dragoon if you wanted something interesting to do on the bike and want to avoid I-10.

There is a hotdog cookout Thursday night (and usually Friday night, too), just drop a few bucks in the kitty.

There's the ranch Saloon for steaks on Saturday night and breakfast everyday is included in camping.

So, is the ranch saloon open for dinner other nights? Otherwise, any recommended places for dinner in Benson?

G&F Pizza has the best pizza in town. There's your typical fast food places and then a few good local joints as well.

The Horseshoe Cafe and Reb's Cafe aren't bad at all.

There's a Chinese place behind Wendy's that actually has some real good food.

What time will the rides begin? I am thinking on riding or maybe driving there from Tucson in the morning instead of staying overnight.

Several of them, Magalys, Nicos, and one I don't know the name of. Most of the cafes mentioned serve Mexican plates also.

SE Arizona Basin and Range..........

I did a recon ride for DSDD today. I like ranch gates done with style.

I topped a hill and the views of the mountain ranges was fantastic!
Starting due south, the northern Dragoons.

Southwest, the Little Dragoons with Mae west peaks.

West, the Rincons.

Northwest, the Santa Catalinas, with the Jhonny Lyon Hills in the foreground.

North, the Galiuros.

North, the Winchesters.

Northeast, the Pinalenos.

East, the Dos Cabezas.

Southeast the mighty Chiricahuas.

All of these ranges can be accessed from the TT Ranch, and all have good dualsport routes.

With less than a week to go, I will be posting the rides I am leading in a few days.

After breakfast

Hot breakfast is included with the camping so, figure folks will probably be "stands up" and rolling around 9.

Looks like Hajime and I will be leaving Las Vegas around 8am Friday, so arriving something like 5pm. We will probably be heading out Saturday and Sunday on our own rides, but definitely looking forward to meeting some of you mongrels!

Getting IN late

Skip & I are coming. We want to ride in this afternoon and maybe do the full moon ride tonight, riding home afterwards. We will camp on Sat.

Today it will be our bigger bikes (F8 and GS12). we're going to see if Allyn can haul one of our dirt bikes down for Saturday riding. If not we'll stick with the monsters and stay out of sand washes.

Is there an IN list?

Looking forward to this, thnks Raven.
