Cool !!

The "IN" list........
for Tuesday Night (11th) Backyard Tent Camping/BBQ/campfire on my 5 acres near Hood River,
and the Wed & Thur "Edge of Wilderness DIRT RIDE", and Forest "nowhere" tent camping Wed & Thur nights.
I think we'll also be able to sneak the NW famous Barlow Road into this

We'll get to the KTM Rally about 10-ish AM Friday Morning.
If registration can start Thursday evening, we can get there then,,,,whatever....

By then, I'll have a Forest (free) campspot personally picked out, as close as possible to the Rally site.

1) Grinns
2) CJRacer
3) mdfehrmann
4) Ladukebob
5) Cyclops Motorsports
6) Konflict Motorsports
7) hvman
8) cyborg
9) CharlieFox
10) Steve Lavigne
11) moto-treks
12) idc22
13) Craig McCurdy (I haven't heard from you yet...but you better not miss this...)

I'll keep this list current enough, that I'll be able to PM/email y'all closer to the event with all my contact info.

I am signed up. I am dragging Zaptoad with me and trying to get 2 other family members to come with.

We are not making plans on how to get there yet.

They say Elk Lake is 35 minutes from Bend. There's no camping closer?

It looks like a good place though.

Oh Yeah, got to be in on this one.

I've been told we will be able to find non-campground or "dispersed" camping VERY close to the event.
I plan on scouting some time this Summer....I'll let you all know what I find.

Good deal. Just need a porta-poty and flat ground.

If anyone over there on the dry side needs volunteer help for this event, send me a PM.

There likely won't be a porta potty in the Dispersed Camspot that I intend to find:
- Close to the event,
- In the Forest,
- No other people, except us Hooligans

There's a group coming from the Sound Area for a Long-Way-Down ride and Pre-Rally thing-a-ma-bling,
.......if you're looking for Hooliganism

The amount of cool dispersed camping in the area is ENDLESS!
There are so many sites, that you can decide if you want Pondi or Juni or Sage or Rock, still or running water, snow, fishing. Single track or two track access, State, BLM or USFS, on a butte with a view or in a draw surrounded by terrain... Really, you will get lost before running out of opportunities.

Hey guys - been lurking awhile and finally got myself set up on the site. I was thinking of making a cannonball run from Calgary on the 990 for this rally as I've never been to one. Might even be able to talk Beema Killa and another cat or two into making the run. Can someone who has been to an orange rally give me an idea what it's all about? No doubt that much orange in one place will be cool enough, just wondering about what to expect as it's a long haul from here.
