Any chance you have a picture of the set-up?
Thanks

I can't figure out how to attach pictures. I do have pics of the bars, but there's no "browse" anymore.

Clint: what about loading them into photobucket or something similar and then just use the link provided for the picture?

I am sure I will regret it but my trusty Hawk has been sold. I hated to do it but it had to be done.

I know it will be taken care of by a very picky older gent.

Put them on my 92 a few weeks ago. I like 'em. They've got a bit less pullback, and are a bit higher. I was concerned that they would feel higher, but they don't.

Yep, that's a F16 shield too.

Talking WeeHawk'n

I took the WeeHawk out for a ride this afternoon and I can't say enough good things about the Airhawk II Seat Cushion. I thought I might have had the bike sold a few weeks ago but never heard back from the guy that was interested. Since I still have it though, a friend and I are planing a week long ride for late July, not sure where we are going yet though (it's been a few years since I have been on the road).

If any of you are on Facebook, look me up!

Clint I really like the look of that bike ! Those bars look good - mine are slightly tweaked, I will certainly keep those in mind when I get around to putting new bars on.

I haven't noticed any difference when changing from stock to these.

My main reason for swapping was to straighten my wrists out a bit, and in that regard they are great.

Bonus is that they're black, and look great!

So, I installed an aftermarket horn on my '84 450. I bought it because it was supposed to be loud. It's loud enough, I guess, certainly louder than the O.E horn that was on there.

Its a low tone, single tone. I want to go get the high tone in the same horn and run the both of them. Can I hook them up in series and run them both on the stock wiring? Do I need to run an inline fuse?

Thanks much!

Actually, what you really want to do is add a relay to the wiring. That will give the new horn needed voltage, and will esp. help with a second horn.

Yes, I did that six years ago and it's saved my skin numerous times from the phone-driving 'holes around here. As genespleen said, put a relay in there & you're good to go.
