I like gravel....even with one of them bikes you are not supposed to take on gravel. Rode it out there also!
![]() Let me think....I may even find you one of the very few covered bridges left out there.Oh man...it has been a while. Ste-Sabine toward St-Camille ???? I may have to ask, I tried to track it on the net a while back and doesn't seem documented anywhere.May have to try with Google Earth. Off the top of my head for now...St-George(Rang/Route Cumberland)...Morissette Station...Ste Rose Station...Ste Germaine Station, left there to Lac-Etchemin, right at "Route du Golf", pass in front of sister's 125 years old schoolhouse, keep straight, left to St-Luc then east toward "Le petit Nord" and on toward St-Magloire, Ste Sabine...St-Fabien de Panet....Ouf.....enough for half a day+ riding that, I think and I should look at the map anyway. ![]() Or maybe the new "Route Panoramique" that's St-Luc toward Buckland, St-Philemon lots of hillls that way. But they may want you to pay....we had a few choice words for the manager there a couple years back, then he recognized me, he is my sister's neighbor/friend. No paying here...!![]() http://www.massifdusud.com/panorama.html Darn...too bad I won't be there I'd probably find you some great camping on the Riviere Etchemin and maybe a Kayak/Canoe.But....need some introduction with some of my friends out there, they are pretty serious about "private property" on their woodlots and farmlands. Oh Yeah St-Luc de Dijon, not St-Luc de Bellechasse, map is wrong there and on a couple other points also. But that's Google they totally lost my road here a couple years back and I had to report it, took 2 months for them to fix that. They used to have a great attraction in St-Luc, a re-created logging camp/bunkhouses/cookhouse etc....all turned into a big family/ATV campground now. Baaah! ![]() If you get caught speeding out there and if her name is Brulot from the SQ, she's cute, rides and gave me one heck of a break a couple years back. Not so to my friend's son last Christmas but he sure deserved that $1,100.00 fine for speeding.40 Km over and they may also take your license away for a week. So watch out they do patrol the gravel roads a lot more than they used to.![]() Enough...better go outside, got some of my own logging to do.
