I made the mount from some scrap stainless steel that I had laying around.

Ya those LED's are very bright. They're made and marketed in China and several entrepeneurs in NA buy them and resell them under their own name. Regardless, they are indeed bright!

The SW lights are nice and strurdy, they took quite a beating, both off-road and specially in tarmac parking areas. No dead bulbs in 20,000 kms! Full waterproof, i rode over 700 kms in heavy rain at night with no issues. Only downside was that i had them wired in such a way that they drained the battery frewuently. A set of jump cables was always at hand.

Nice spot! I was thinking about the same thing! I have the same bars.
Can you send some more pics with the lights off? Thanks,

Why do you guys prefer mounting your lights level with your existing headlights? I'm going to fender mount mine so that they move when I turn and create a light triangle.

Just curious!

The micro flooters are indeed mounted by the headlights on the F800 GS because thats the bracket they come with, as do many other types. There is a mount for highway bars, but my experience has been a lot more damage closer to the ground... Having said that, the bike essentially moves in the direction you turn and by aiming your lights for a wide pattern, you don't notice any lack of illumination. I have ridden both ways with lights, and really prefer the static lighting pattern. Oh another note, if anyone buys these Wunderlich flooters, I highly recommend them, but watch out if you also have the Wunderlich lexan headlight guard installed...It interferes with the flooter brackets, and a little judicious cutting of the bracket is required to allow the guard bracket to seat in. (I found it doesn't weaken the flooter bracket all that much) Been all over local logging roads with em and no signs of weakness. I definately have less cagers pulling out of parking lots in front of me now !!! Woohoo !!

I decided to use Denali D1s mostly because I have them on the FZ6's fender and I am happy with them, and they were cheaper than other brands. I'll stick with fender mounting.

My TT aux fog/fog kit: great performance, easy installation, very good positioning.
